Dover, Kohl & Partners, together with Cunningham Quill Architects, are working with The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission to improve the US1 corridor in College Park, Maryland. A charrette was held on-site from December 5th - 10th, 2008, and the public input received during the charrette is being used to update the Planning Commission’s 2002 Central US1 Corridor Sector Plan.

Dover Kohl’s affiliated architecture firm Chael, Cooper & Associates has just completed the restoration of a house located in the Cambridge Lawns Historic District of South Miami, Florida. The cottage, home of Principal Victor Dover and his wife Maricé Chael, has received a gold certification under the LEED for Homes Pilot Program. The home has also been awarded a Dade Heritage Trust Award for Restoration Preservation and has been featured on the website of Green Building Advisor.

The East Fort Myers Revitalization and Redevelopment Plan is the latest partnership with the City of Fort Myers. The project area serves as the gateway to downtown Fort Myers, and includes a 3 mile corridor, neighborhoods, as well as a unique opportunity to rehabilitate Billy’s Creek and the Calooshatchee River.
