The DKP Team is in San Marcos, Texas working on a new code with TPUDC, StreetPlans and CNU Board Member Matthew Lewis. The project began with a Tactical Urbanism event. LBJ Drive in the heart of the downtown was converted from a one-way street to a two-way with a cycle track, parklets, on-street parking and trees for the day. The DKP team completed a charrette last week for Wheeler District in Oklahoma City. Wheeler District is a new infill community that is poised to become Oklahoma City’s next great walkable neighborhood. Over 500 people participated in the week-long charrette hosted by Humphreys Development Company.

Dover, Kohl & Partners is excited to announce the appointment of three new members to our Board of Directors! James, Amy, and Jason have been promoted to firm Principal, joining founders Victor and Joe as leaders in the design of sustainable neighborhoods, towns, cities and regions.
James Dougherty, Principal and Director of Design, has been with DKP since 1996; James helps to establish the firm's design philosophy, and is a leader in urban design illustration techniques.
Amy Groves, Principal and Senior Project Director, joined DKP in 2002; she has directed the work of the studio team in new town plans as well as neighborhood and corridor revitalization and form-based code efforts.
Jason King, Principal and Senior Project Director, has been with Dover-Kohl since 2006; Jason is responsible for leading many of DKP's regional and comprehensive planning efforts, including Plan El Paso and Seven50: the Southeast Florida Prosperity Plan.
